Director's Welcome
At the American School of Douala, our vision, Inspiring lifelong curiosity to solve the challenges of tomorrow, is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to developing curious, critical thinkers who are principled, globally minded, and confident risk-takers prepared to make a positive impact in an ever-changing world.
The 2026–27 academic year marks an exciting milestone as we proudly launch our authorized International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and open our new Neurodiverse Center. Together, these initiatives reflect our commitment to academic excellence, personalized learning, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Whether you are a current member of our community or exploring ASD for your family, I invite you to visit our campus, meet our exceptional teachers, and discover the outstanding educational experience that has distinguished ASD for almost fifty years.
